Transfer Arusha - Tarangire: Approximately 2 hours.
Our professional guide will pick you up from your hotel. You will then embark on a scenic drive to Tarangire National Park, where your thrilling game drive awaits. Explore the park’s rich landscapes and diverse wildlife while enjoying a packed picnic lunch at a designated site within the park. After the game drive, you will be transferred to your lodge for some well-deserved relaxation, followed by a delicious dinner and overnight stay.
Tarangire National Park is named after the Tarangire River, known as the "river of warthogs". This park is a vital water source for wildlife during the Dry season. Tarangire is famous for its large elephant herds, often seen gathering near the riverbanks.
You may spot giraffes gracefully roaming, bushbucks hiding in the thickets, and hartebeests grazing in the plains. Predators such as lions and leopards are never far, adding an extra thrill to your experience.

Home to around 30,000 large mammals year-round, including lions, elephants, buffaloes, rhinos, and cheetahs, as well as a rich variety of birds like flamingos, eagles, and buzzards, the crater offers exceptional wildlife viewing. Program of the day: After breakfast, you will depart for Lake Manyara National Park for a game drive, carrying packed lunch boxes. After the game drive, we will transfer you back to Arusha town at Arusha Planet Lodge for relaxation, dinner, and an overnight stay.
Upon arrival, enjoy an unforgettable game drive through Lake Manyara’s diverse habitats from lush groundwater forests to wide-open grassy plains and the shimmering lake. The park is famous for its tree-climbing lions, playful baboon troops, elephants, giraffes, zebras, hippos, and a vibrant array of birds, including flamingos and pelicans along the lake shore.
