Yes. A valid passport is required when traveling to Tanzania. Your passport should be valid for at least six (6) months from your date of entry, and your tourist visa will generally be valid for three months from the date it is issued.
Mamnana Adventures recommends that your passport contains at least two unused facing visa pages (three pages are recommended for travel to Tanzania).
You are responsible for obtaining all necessary visas before your tour departure. Depending on your nationality, you may require a visa to enter Tanzania, and obtaining a visa can take up to six weeks.
Traveling to Tanzania for the first time can be both exciting and a little overwhelming, and one of the most common concerns is the visa process. Fortunately, Tanzania offers a convenient visa-on-arrival option for many travelers. This means that, upon arrival at the airport, you can usually obtain your visa within a short period of time.
Please note that visa-on-arrival is generally available to citizens of many European countries and the United States, but it may not be available for all nationalities. Some travelers are required to obtain their visas before arriving in Tanzania.
Overall, Tanzania’s visa process is relatively straightforward, and the visa-on-arrival option makes entry into the country easier for many visitors.
A Tanzanian visa can also be applied for online, subject to eligibility requirements. The online application process may take up to ten (10) working days.
When applying, it is important to select the correct type of visa:

Visa fees vary depending on your nationality and the type of visa required. For most nationalities, the fee starts at USD 50, while U.S. citizens are required to pay USD 100 for a Multiple Entry Visa.
Visitors from Referral Visa countries are required to apply for their visas in advance and are advised to do so at least two (2) months before their safari dates.
Please note that travelers from Referral Visa countries are not eligible for a visa on arrival, and the approval process may take longer than for other visa categories.
During the application process, you may be required to provide an introduction letter. Mamnana Adventures will provide this letter only to eligible visitors after requesting certain supporting documents, including a copy of your passport.
The Mamnana Adventures team will be happy to assist you with the necessary requirements and provide guidance throughout your visa application process should you need any further advice.
