Program of the Day: Your day begins at 6:00 am with a transfer to Zanzibar Airport for an 8:00 am flight to Arusha, arriving at 9:15 am. From there, your guide will drive you 1.5 hours to Tarangire National Park, sharing stories about Arusha and the Maasai culture along the way.
Tarangire National Park: Enjoy a full-day game drive through Tarangire, famous for its vast elephant herds, diverse landscapes, and predators like lions and leopards. A packed lunch will be served inside the park.
The game drive ends around 4:00 pm, after which you’ll head to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
After breakfast at 6:00 am, you will drive to Ngorongoro for an early morning game drive inside the Ngorongoro Crater. The early start provides the best opportunity to witness the crater’s stunning views and its most active wildlife.
Recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Ngorongoro Crater is the world’s largest unbroken caldera and one of Africa’s Natural Wonders. It is home to around 30,000 large mammals, including buffalo, lions, elephants, cheetahs, and the endangered black rhino, along with a variety of bird species such as flamingos, eagles, and buzzards. The crater offers a remarkable chance to see a vast array of wildlife within a short period.
Your game drive will conclude in the afternoon, followed by a scenic transfer back to Arusha, where you will catch your flight to the beautiful island of Zanzibar to end your safari adventure in style.
